Welcome at the Max Weber Institute of Sociology
The Max Weber Institute of Sociology has a long tradition of sociological thinking, research, and teaching. Since the time of Max Weber, the Institute has been a home for sociologists committed to the theoretical, empirical, and methodological development of the discipline.
The Max Weber Institute of Sociology offers a Bachelor's and a Master's program in Sociology. The focus of the teaching lies on sociological theory, research methods, as well as key areas of empirical social research.
