Tobias Schmidt

Tobias Schmidt is a research associate at the Center for Social Investment (CSI). His research focuses on impact investing and sustainable investments, social entrepreneurship and research on third sector issues, with a particular focus on philanthropic foundations.

Tobias Schmidt studied social work in Heidelberg and Mannheim (Bachelor of Arts), political science and sociology in Heidelberg and Prague (Master of Arts). Before joining CSI, he worked at the Bertelsmann Stiftung in Gütersloh, the UBS Optimus Foundation in Frankfurt and at the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim.
